This Is Funny

CNN Money site:
U.S. stocks set to open strongly higher, following the leads of Asia and Europe.

The US Market doesn't follow the leads of Europe and Asia - it makes Europe and Asia. I find it incredible that a company based in the wealthiest country in the world doesn't understand that US Funds and Funds of Funds are what makes the world go round and round and round and markets go up and down.

At one time markets were all independent and if you wanted to invest in one or another you had to run through some amazing hoops to do so. Now I can trade German securities on my E-trade account.

Someday the morons in the media are going to figure out that in the 1990's there was not just an internet stock market boom but also a global communications boom that permits me to talk to people anywhere in the world and do business with people anywhere in the world while I sit here in my PJs.

But I'm not going to hold my breath waiting for that day.
