Insanity

Ahead of the bell and all hell is breaking loose - BIDU on great revenue and weak guidance is down 5% and NTRI - another company that sells dreams or maybe it sells fantasy - is up over 20%.

Who wants to play earnings roulette? Step right up and put your money on the table - win, lose, or draw it's a great time to be had by the casino owners no matter what.

Always bank the game - you will never lose.

Hey Marlyn- I'm curious if the same reasoning for BOB holds true for Blow off tops? And, would the 10:15 to 10:45 bars in SPAR today constitute a blow off top? Given that stocks "take the stairs up, but the elevator down", I wonder if these setups for short plays might be even more promising than BOBs. Would love your take on that...

I don't like the short side - the bias of the market place is up - consequently it is difficult to identify short set-ups. Then it requires a different mind-set from mine - I've tried it and found I didn't care for it.

There are two set-ups that you could look for - first the "steeple top" see VNT 15-min Wednesday 12:45 and NITE 15-min Wednesday 11:15 (NITE is best because it is also a gap up). The second method is a reverse Trader X - it is probably the best. A gap down stock that just waterfalls to a BOB or dummy spot. Of course I can't find one right now.

Bon chance.

I'm not sure how high probability that SPAR setup was today but it would'vee worked out nicely this time. I'm not ready to wing it on that setup but I'll keep my eye open for BOTs and see how they work out. Thanks for the feedback.
