Saw a great Apple commercial on the tube this morning picking on Vista. It's the young cool guy (apple) talking to the dweeby guy (windows) and there is a secret service-looking guy (Vista) behind the windows guy making him grant permission for every little thing. Pretty funny. Not sure if it will sell any Macs though.
In re the story you linked, I can't believe anyone is going out and buying a new PC just to get Vista. That doesn't seem right to me. (Of course I'm biased- long AAPL and short MSFT!)
I agree - I think people are just taking advantage of some super low prices - especially in Best Buy and Circuit City. And Vista happens to be the current opsys.
